Trying to catch the light

As a light designer my eyes and mind are so trained in noticing and appreciating light that it was the next logical step to try to catch some of these moments in images. Started with nature photography and slowly realized i wanted to control the light better. Which resulted in some concept pictures, studio photography and more recent autonomous series.

I divided them below into set/concept, natural and studio to make your search a bit easier. For information or to order a print, please contact me.

  • Silhouettes of multiple hands reaching out and touching a pregnant woman's belly in a dark setting.

Making the most of the time and light

  • Close-up of a dried, brown, four-leaf hydrangea flower with transparent, veined petals

Frozen in time as i found it outside

  • Close-up of people’s legs and feet wearing formal shoes, walking on a reflective floor.

Slices of stolen time taken during studio rehearsals or montage
